It is also this experience that has led to his success as a PGA tour conditioning coach for his players. As the only Level Three (TPI) Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor in the state of Colorado, and a Certified Golf Bio-mechanic, Dee brings extensive knowledge and expertise for the scratch golfer to the PGA tour pro, which quickly translates into permanent change and success for any golfing client.
A golfer’s overall success is dependent on many factors. When preparing a client’s body for effective integrated movement, CGF considers the specific neuromuscular demands; the common sites of injury for the individual; their muscular imbalances; the proper use of soft tissue therapy; the energy system requirements, and finally, proper nutritional support. It’s been this type of approach that has helped coach our PGA winners to victory!
An individualized approach to golf conditioning is necessary for the success and longevity of a client. A program designed without considering the weaknesses, imbalances and compensations of a golfer will only further increase the susceptibility to injury.
At CGF we determine weaknesses, imbalances and compensations through the use of extensive testing and assessments as well as keen observation. This specific testing and assessment gives the program focus, direction and eliminates any guess work related to exercise and treatment prescription. Studies have shown that our body will respond in one of two ways: positive leading to effective change or negative leading to compensation. As a client you will experience a variety of proven training tools and methodologies to ensure that you experience positive adaptations.
Our training components are optimized through properly designed corrective or high-performance based conditioning programs, Muscle Activation Techniques and person-specific, nutrition and athletic lifestyle coaching. The results achieved are not only invaluable, but are necessary for success as a golfer and as a fit and healthy person!
